Hello! I'm Marlowe,

You don’t fit in a box, you’re creative and multidimensional, queer and anything but neuro-typical. If you struggle to feel valid, seen, real, or even human, your magic might just be unimaginable to the world as we know it. Those of us who identify as multi-cultural, trans, gender-nonconforming, queer, neurodivergent, disabled, outsiders and artists often live between worlds and on the edges, challenging society to liberate itself from monotony.

Together we can explore the gifts that are innately you and help you navigate this complicated world with more ease.

Our sessions offer you creative ways to engage your inner power and a holding environment to grieve. The process of unraveling from harm and connecting to your own vision can be creative, non-linear and multidimensional. We might laugh, cry, commiserate, explore, play, dance, talk, and draw and through these connections gain a sense of truth, trust and acceptance.

Why I do this work:

As a therapist, I have the knowledge to assist people through challenging experiences and I am enriched by the honest connections we make through the process of healing.

I am AuDHD, trans/genderfluid and embody many fun social paradoxes around gender and sexuality. I am white and explore what it means to inhabit my body in a racist society with awareness of my lineage, my history, my impact and experiences of grief, shame and love.

I am in healing community with substance users, SWErs, incarcerated adults, formerly incarcerated youth, foster youth, separated families, LGBTQAI and QTBIPOC, disabled and neurodivergent folx, dancers, change makers, outsiders and creatives.

While I am in community with system involved populations, I also provide private practice psychotherapy centered in collective liberation, mutuality and healing––critical concepts often missing from public health discussions that attempt to address health inequities.

Education and Training

I am a registered associate marriage and family therapist. I hold a degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from The California Institute of Integral Studies and a certificate in Trauma, Prevention and Recovery from City College of San Francisco.
